Just entering the third year of its current model cycle, the Acura 2011 TSX is hardly long in the tooth. To keep things fresh – and to alleviate some concerns buyers have raised with its style – Honda’s luxury brand updated the sedan for Acura 2011.
Available in both sedan and – new for 2011 – wagon forms, the Acura 2011 TSX is Acura’s entry level model in the United States. Its 2.4-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 powertrains are mostly carried over for the new model year, but small modifications to reduce friction have increased fuel economy by 1 mpg for both city and highway across the board.
The 201-horsepower, 172 lb-ft. of torque 2.4-liter (170 lb-ft. with the optional automatic) is rated at 22/31 (automatic, 21/29 manual) in the sedan and 22/30 in the automatic-only wagon. A five-speed automatic and six-speed manual are essentially carried over for 2011.
Available only on the sedan and only with an automatic transmission, a 3.5-liter V6 cranks out 280 horsepower and 254 lb-ft. of torque. It sips fuel at a rate of 19 mpg urban and 28 mpg highway.

Brief Info Of Acura 2011 TSX

Aside from styling changes, which modify the front and rear fascias, the Acura 2011 TSX gains new alloy wheel designs and acoustic windshield glass and upgraded sound insulation. Inside, the center console is mildly revised, while contrasting stitching is added to the standard leather seats. An optional upgraded navigation system now boasts an LED backlit display, a 60GB hard drive capable of storing 15GB of music and Song By Voice interfacing.
Set to go on sale November 23, the 2011 TSX will start from $29,610 for both manual and automatic transmission 2.4-liter sedans. Adding the Technology Package pushes the MSRP to $32,710, while the V6 starts at $35,150. Those prices represent a $300 increase over 2010.
The Acura 2011 TSX wagon that debuted in April at the New York Auto Show previewed the new style of Acura 2011.
