New Model of Acura RL

Acura is a division of Honda Motor Company which is involved in manufacturing of luxury cars; this brand has been undertaken by the Japanese Automobile giant to market their luxury cars in US, Canada and Hong Kong. All the luxury cars under this brand name are considered to be Performance and near performance vehicles. In America they have lunched a fully remodeler version of Acura RL which is already selling in Japan under the name of Honda Legend and the interesting thing is all the legends and RLs are manufactured in Saitama in Japan. The first version of Acura RL was introduced around 1986 in America, since then it has been revised three times and now a technologically and mechanically advanced version of Acura RL is being launched as Acura RL 2011.

It has been known that when the new Acura RL 2011 is going to come in the market in the falls of 2011 it is going to be a surprised package. They have already prepared grounds for giving a mild shock of surprise to all the auto lovers with their technological and mechanical marvel which they are going to launch as it will be the first rear-wheel-drive Platform and is said to have the first ever V8 engine. In the exterior section from what the speculations and the images have been re covered it can be said that the car is going to be completely redesigned and the major portion is going to come from the Acura TSX. As of now we know that the Acura has failed to make an impression of a rich and luxury car from its exterior features but for years they have fascinated us by their interior features and the rich upholstery with hand-stitched genuine leather and the use of real trim wood. The grille appearance is quite unimpressive but the features can be well commented after the car will be ready for speculation by the consumers. The Engine is going to be the state-of-the-art six speed automatic transmissions V8 engine with 4.8 liter delivering 420 of Horse power, as the details are not known how fast it will cover the distance of 0-60mph but the same is done by an ideal V6 engine in 7.2 seconds. Although these specifications are going to be option for the consumers as the standard model is said to have five speed automatic transmission 3.7 liter V6 engine having 300 horsepower. The suspensions provided in the 2010 model were for better sports performance but the Acura RL 2011 is said to be equipped with more advanced and improved suspension. Current fuel efficiency with the V6 engine is 16mpg in city and 22mpg on highway, but this fuel economy will be improved with the V8 engine as it is assumed that this engine will have more fuel efficient power trains.

Other features of acura rl include power accessories with power folding mirrors, rear parking sensors and 18 inch alloy wheels. The Acura rl has constantly bagged the National Highway Traffic System Administrations (NHTSA) ‘Five Star’ ratings and ‘G’ for Good by the insurance institute of Highway safety (IIHS). These safety features include Antilock braking system, Vehicle stability assist, Traction Control, Break assist, Front and front side airbags and Side curtain air nags for passengers. Pricing of the car is not known till date but will be announced in near future. This new Acura RL 2011 is said to have looks which was the missing factor in their previous versions, although they have satisfied customers with their driving and engine performance they are going to be in the market for giving looks and feel of a real Luxury Car acura rl.
